Meet the Team · No. 04
1996.
2008.
2019.
Three dates, one trade, and a career that was built on purpose rather than by accident.
Corey
Brewer
Lead Instructor &
Safety Consultant
1996 is where Corey started. 2008 is when he moved into utility work as an Electrician. 2019 is when he earned his Journeyman Lineman certification — a goal he pursued on his own initiative, specifically to take on greater challenges in the field.
That last part is the whole story. Nobody handed him the certification and nobody required it of him. He went and got it because the work he wanted was on the other side of it.
Thirty years of hands-on linework now goes into developing utility workers at Alpha Omega, and it comes with something a curriculum can’t supply on its own: a ground-level perspective on what the job is actually like when you get there.
What Corey leads at AO
▸ Developing utility workers
▸ Hands-on linework instruction
▸ Ground-level perspective on field realities
Deliberate progression isn’t a phrase from a training manual. It’s just what Corey did for thirty years.
